Bing Wang graduated from Beijing Dance Academy with a major in Chinese ethnic dance and drama. At the academy, he and his classmate, Doudou Huang, (currently famous Chinese folk dance choreographer) created the video course materials for Chinese Dance Shenyun. To this day, this video is used as required material for Chinese Classical dance department of Beijing Dance Academy. From 1997 to 2002, he worked as a lead dancer at the China Opera where he was invited to perform cultural events around the world. He continued his dancing career as a dance choreographer for major events at Chinese Central and Beijing TV. He begun his teaching career as a lead instructor at Chinese Classical Dance Department of Beijing Shenji Dance Academy where his students won multiple top score awards across the nation.
